Institutional Review Board
for
Protection of Human Subjects
The Institutional Review Board (IRB)
meets once
per month throughout the year to review
research
protocols that involve human subjects, submitted by students,
faculty, staff or administrators of the University of New England.
Policy and
Procedures
Individuals wishing to have a research
proposal reviewed by the IRB must get their completed electronic proposals to
the Office of Sponsored Programs
(Admissions House, lower
level) by 4pm on the first day of the month that a proposal is
anticipated for review.
Two
hard copies of the proposal, with appropriate signatures must be submitted
to the Office of Sponsored
Programs (Admissions House, lower level) by the time of the monthly
meeting to be accepted for review.
2007-2008
Meetings
Proposals turned after that date/time will be
considered at the next monthly meeting.
