Course
in The Protection of Human Research Subjects
UNE requires all research staff (whether or not listed in proposals) to have taken or
renewed the CITI web-based training course on Human Subject Research Protection.
The course
should be taken prior to submission of proposal to aid in informing the
application. Applications for IRB review will not be accepted until the
Lead Investigator at
UNE has completed his or her human subjects training.
If a member of the
research staff has completed CITI training with another university, institution,
organization, etc. within the last 24 months,
then a completion certificate must
accompany the application.
Only CITI training will be accepted.
