Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)

 

The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) meets once per month throughout the year to review research protocols that involve any vertebrate animals, submitted by students, faculty, staff or administrators of the University of New England.

 

Animal Welfare Assurance

 

 

 

Individuals wishing to have an animal research proposal reviewed by the IACUC should download the IACUC Application Form and the IACUC Application Guideline Form (available as Word documents on this site) and complete it.

 

Once completed, please email form to IACUC Chairperson, Dr. David Johnson 

( djohnson@une.edu ). The chair will then disseminate it to the IACUC members for review. Reviews typically take less than two weeks to complete.
