'93, attended the 2009 Pre-Doctoral Conference of the Society for Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) in Savannah, Georgia, January 22-25). Dr. Broyles, Jeani Reagan and Tyler Raymond made a presentation titled "Students2: Collaborative Learning" that described the UNECOM Blackboard websites that were developed for each class as an important system for student collaborative learning and improved educational climate. Survey data show that the sites are considered essential tools for learning in the first two years and that students hope to use the discussion boards to stay connected and to share discipline-specific learning tools during third-year clerkship rotations.
