An endangered species is defined as any species threatened with extinction. The rising number of endangered species can be attributed to one single species, ours. In the persuit of moreland for farming, drilling for prescious resources, over fishing the worlds oceans and overhunting animals for trophies, humans destroy the natural environment of these animals leaving them with nowhere to go and nothing to eat. Because the animals cannot adapt to the their changing environment fast enough they eventually die.
